Born in Devizes. Brought up in Pewsey. First came to Salisbury to attend college and then completed my nurses training at salisbury Infirmary and Odstock Hospital. worked as a staff nurse in High Dependency and then completed my training to be a midwife. Worked in the hospital and local community as a Midwife for 12 years.

The worked for Commission for social Care Inspection as a regulations Officer and was responsible for inspecting Care Homes/ Nursing Homes and Boarding schools. Then completed my Nurse Practitioner degree and worked in local surgeries, responsible for triaging, diagnosing and prescribing for minor illnesses and managing chronic diseases.

In 2007 I was instrumental in setting up and managing the Walk In Centre which I did for 5 years. In 2014 I left full time employment with the NHS for 30 years and took the decision to  set up There4u with my daughter Dana.

We were registered with the CQC in April 2015 and started with just 1 client! We have continued to grow steadily since and we are very proud of our achievements and the service we offer.

I have two grown up children, Dana and Marcus and a grandson. In my spare time I am proud to serve Salisbury as a City Councillor and in 2014 I was Mayor of Salisbury – a wonderful honour. I am also a Governor for St Edmunds Girl’s. I love to bake and spend time with my family.

There4u ( Salisbury ) Ltd is a Domiciliary Care Agency based in Salisbury. We offer all aspects of help to people in their own homes. This includes personal care (washing and dressing), Preparing meals, shopping and light housework. We travel to within 30 minutes of the centre of salisbury. All our visits are a minimum of 30 minutes.

We also offer a sitting service to give partners/family a rest.

All staff receive regular training and undertake NVQ once they have completed their probationary period with the company.
