Tim is a qualified chartered accountant working in industry as part-time Finance Director for several SMEs in Hampshire and Wiltshire. Having qualified in the City and worked for KPMG in London and Johannesburg, Tim has had exposure to many large international and national businesses and has worked in many business sectors including software, manufacturing, engineering, wholesale distribution, insurance, automotive retail, vehicle hire, and automotive consultancy.
Tim now focuses on assisting SMEs with their business strategy and planning, advising on financial and management accounting, cashflow forecasting and bank relationships, Treasury, corporate legal agreements, Company Secretarial, project and HR management, insurance, pensions auto enrolment, grants, corporate finance, Information Memoranda, due diligence, and corporate tax. Tim specialises in financial modelling for Business Plans used to raise funds, or as a basis for sale of a business to potential buyers, and has successfully project managed 7 business acquisitions and 10 business sales.
Tim is a mentor for DorMen (Dorset Business Mentoring), a charity trustee, and Hon Treasurer for several Salisbury not-for-profit organisations. Tim is a keen participating sportsman – cricket, golf and tennis – so when not working, Tim is usually chasing a ball somewhere.
