I think we’d all agree that 2017 was quite extraordinary with Brexit, the snap election and subsequent hung parliament. The first few months of this year is time for a little reflection and lots of analysis, so we can pounce on new projects when the timing is right.
The housing market is slow but there are large regional variations both in terms of rate of increase in value and purchases. We all like to be beside the sea but who would have thought that Bournemouth showed the second highest price increase in the country at 11%! Interest rates remain very low but obtaining a mortgage remains challenging because of stricter criteria.
Rest assured that we are thoroughly researching new development opportunities and will advise potential investors when the time is right.
